Oman a new destination.
A fantastic country, a perfect places to dive.
I arrived in Muscat (the capitol city) by Swiss Air.
I arranged a pickup with the dive centre "Globa Scuba L.L.C." www.global-scuba.com. Monique was very kind and the staff was polite, unfortunally the boat wasn`t in a condition to sail and to carry divers.
We had problems to go back from the Daymanyat Island and two of us got injured.
Aquarius in the Daymanyat Island is a fantastic place to dive, one of the best of my life.
Big cattle fishes, a massive giant morays, turtles, sea horse (big), stone fish, lion fish, box fish, manta ray, prawns, guitar fish, very nice corals.
Diving was so great. I was diving with a French group, very good divers and Michelle a professional photographer; she gave to me amazing shots, thank you so much….
Uuuuaaaoooo…….it is an unforgettable dive site.
After three days I moved in the south.
Marbat is at 60km from Salalah. I flew with Oman air from Muscat and I booked a pickup with the hotel.
Extra Divers (www.extradivers-worldwide.com) has the dive centre inside the Marriot Hotel in Marbat. To dive with them it is better to book the hotel.
This destination is nice and the dive centre very good.
The people is very organized and friendly.
The dive sites are full of fishes.
Oman is a great alternative to the red sea.
