Utila January 2016
Utila is a mix of Spanish and English.
The natives speak English (mother tongue) the rest of the Hondurans Spanish (national language).
The Island is in the Caribbean Sea and it is difficult to arrive there.
The ferry is daily from La Ceiba and you can fly from San Pedro do Sula too but with bad condition (sea or wind) no flights no ferries.
I founded accommodation close to the UDC (Utila Dive Center) in a cozy flat.
The apartment was a five minutes walking to the dive center very handy.
I was exiting for the new experience "Dive master course".
Four amazing weeks to become dive master. Hard, interesting, funny.
In this course I improved my knowledge. I really suggest this dive center for each course, it doesn´t matter the level, they are so good, so professional so friendly.
I spent six weeks diving (four for the course) around the island three times a day every day making examines and tests at the end I got the certificate "padi dive master" …so happy so proud.
My last exam….. "The snorkeling test" ejejejej
Diving in the island is funny and you can see so many fishes and different kind of corals (a lot).
I remember my last dive a "night dive" hilli wreck. Nice to dive with my friends, Unforgetable.
A special thanks to my instructors: Juicy (my mentor, a fantastic guy. He helped me so much, very great person) and Dani (very positive and professional girl).
A big Hug to my group Kes and Sabina we were a great team.
A loud Hiii to my divers friends Pierre, Spiros, Veronika, Alejandro, Brian, Carrie, Nico, Andrea…and more and more…sorry if I forgot someone.
