It is a long trip to arrive in this island, but it´s worth it.
From Puerto Galera I took a small boat to go to Abra and from there I jumped on in a shuttle van and after 5/6 hours I arrived in Sablayan. I arranged a price with a fisherman for a short sailing from the city to Pandan Island.
I booked an accommodation by e-mail. Pandan Island is a private island with a small resort established by Dominique and his family, he is French and very nice person.
There are four different types of accommodation that guests can choose from: the family houses, double standard bungalows, the standard bungalows and the budget rooms. There is no electricity in the island; lights are produced using solar energy system. The rooms do not have air-conditioning or electric fans.
The food is very good and every day you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with a selection of different dishes.
The day after my arriving I want to the “mariposa diving” to know the dive centre, to fix the dive time and dive sites. I spent one week in this paradise, I really enjoyed myself.
I made two diving a day and I want to Apo reef my real destination since I left Coron (palawan). The trip was nice and diving fantastic. The best dive sites in pandan are:
Neptun and coral garden , nudi branch, lionfish, boxfish, tunas, small catfish, sea cocumber with tinies shrimps on the bach, turtles.
Canyon: turles, parrot fish, lobsters, crabs, gray morey.
North wall:planty of jelly fish, trampfish, snake, napoleon, shremps.
Coral garden west: groopers, morey, nice sea life and corals.
In every dive the underwater condition was good, worm and the visibility great. The dive sites are very close to the island and we used a small boat.
The island offers you more activities as: massages or relax in the hammock and do nothing jejejejejejejejejejejejejejejejejejeje Go and enjoy the island…..
